Hello, and welcome to my blog, The Ultimate X-Phile Experience.
I have been a huge fan of The X-Files since it first aired way back in 1993. I was gutted when it ended, and ecstatic when they made two additional seasons, and gutted again when season 11 was confirmed to be the last, at least for Gillian Anderson anyway.
Over the years, I have watched, and rewatched each episode, including the ones in the much-maligned season 8 and 9, numerous times, and could probably tell you a good chunk of the script, especially for the earlier episodes.
Throughout this blog, I shall be giving my own personal thoughts on each of the 217 episodes, and the two movies that make up the X-Files universe. I shall includes tidbits of information, and some of my favourite quotes.
Ever wondered how many times Mulder loses his gun? Or, how many times Scully tells Mulder, she's fine, when it's obvious she isn't? Well, I shall be answering those questions too, and many more, providing a running total of the answers at the end of every episode post.
So, all that's left is for you to sit back, enjoy, and have some fun.
